Platforms is a midweek party at Corsica Studios, run by and for local underground music heads. Platforms invite some of the best up-and-coming DJs in the London scene, and, true to their name, provide a platform for local collectives, radio stations, record labels and student music societies to showcase their own talent.

This week we're joined by ohmydais and Maya Vika, two DJs who have been tearing it up across airwaves and on dancefloors far and wide.

Team Woibey member ohmydais has a bass-focused style that is hypnotic and punchy all at once, with a barrage of revolving rhythms constantly pushing through the mix.

An affiliate of Keep Hush and the forward-thinking TT label, Maya Vika's sound pushes varying strands of UK-flavoured music, while not limiting herself to just this. Get your bass face on for this one, it's gonna be fun.

Platforms runs every Tuesday night, and is the home of midweek clubbers seeking an alternative to the typical midweek party. There is no music policy and clubbers are offered a different experience each time, but expect everything from techno, electro and hardcore to breaks, bass and garage.

The Platforms ethos is simple: showcase local DJs and bring their music to a wider audience, and provide a credible alternative for midweek clubbers and lovers of underground club music. Accessibility is key, and ticket prices are therefore kept to a minimum. Everyone should be able to dance regardless of income.
