UKAEA + Agathe Max

UKAEA distils trance-dance phenomena from around the globe through a post-apocalyptic filter – using smashed percussion, hard synthesis and bleak declamations to disorientate and elevate.

Agathe Max is a violin and viola player working across contemporary classical, improv, electroacoustic music, noise and pop who effortlessly transcending boundaries.

Lia Mice + Daniel Wyche (Chicago)

Lia Mice's albums released on Objects Ltd and Optimo Music push the boundaries of outsider techno-infused experimental pop. For this improvised live set with Daniel Wyche, Lia will perform Chaos Bells, her self designed oversized digital musical instrument that creates bell-like tones and chaotic drones.

Daniel Wyche is a Chicago-based guitarist, composer, and improviser. Working with a wide range of physical preparations, extended techniques, and pedal instruments, his solo recordings and live performances are characterized by long-form structured improvisations and multichannel guitar. His new solo record, “Earthwork,” was released on American Dreams Records in 2021.

Sunk Heaven (New York)

Sunk Heaven was founded in 2012 by experimental musician Austin Sley Julian. Based in performance, no input mixers, and synthesizers, Sunk Heaven has used the stretches of sonic extremity to produce elegant yet self destructing soundscapes. Through these sonic environments emerge rhythm and poetry where song lives. Sunk Heaven further expands this inventive instrumentation into the experimental electronic conversation. Sunk Heaven tours nationally and internationally, releasing 10 albums in the past 10 years. Sley Julian has produced work at Pioneer Works Performance Residency in January of 2021 and Issue Project Room’s Artist In Residence Program in 2021.
