The autumn season of CDR Sessions continues with the boundary-pushing artist, composer and DJ Yu Su. For those new to CDR Sessions, each event includes an in-depth, production-focused interview with a guest artist, exploring their career and creative process. The talk is flanked by openCDR, where producers and artists of all levels and abilities have the opportunity to play their own music on some of the best club sound systems across the UK. All genres and styles welcomed!

Kaifeng-born and now London-based, Yu Su has carved out an international reputation for her deeply textured productions and unpredictable DJ sets. Her acclaimed releases on Technicolor (Ninja Tune), Music From Memory and BIE Records earned her a Polaris Prize nomination and solidified her as an exciting voice in electronic music over the past decade. Having collaborated with John Carroll Kirby and Duval Timothy and remixed artists like Parquet Courts and King Gizzard & the Lizard Wizard, Yu Su continues to expand her sonic world. Her forthcoming singles Foundry and Bonita for Short Span signal a new, club-driven chapter that folds minimal, downtempo and techno influences into her kaleidoscopic sound.
