Electronic music polymath Lone is an artist that has blurred the boundaries between genres. Starting out making hip hop, he has distinctly evolved with each new release. Yet whether making house, techno, breakbeats or jungle, his music always remains identifiable thanks to its blurry sense of rave nostalgia and bright melodic colours. As well as running his own Magicwire label—home to early albums like Emerald Fantasy Tracks and music from Ross From Friends and Project Pablo—he has also released records for K7, Dekmantel, R&S, Werk Discs and more recently Greco-Roman

His last album 'Always Inside Your Head' showcased a new approach leaning towards a song-based sound, with tracks taking influence from William Orbit’s production on Madonna's 'Frozen', and Olive's 'You're Not Alone' but with additional influences from shoegaze icons My Bloody Valentine and Cocteau Twins. ‍He’s currently deep in the studio working on new music to follow up his latest tracks Waterfall Reverse and Triton.
